I’m very excited to announce that I will be attending the Ottawa Valley Crafts & Collectibles Show and I invite anyone in the region to stop by and visit on Saturday, February 16th from 10am-3pm at the Glebe Community Centre. No admission cost!
The OVCC will be making a donation to The Royal (supporting mental health awareness) of partial proceeds from the show. There is a guaranteed donation of $500, plus vendors are donating items for a silent auction. I haven’t yet figured out what I will be donating, but I’m open to suggestions (leave a comment below or on my Facebook Page).
This is a juried show – artisans needed to submit pictures of their work to be accepted. In my experience, these are the best craft shows as they tend to be of the highest quality products as well as a good mix of unique items. This show has 60 artisans and collectors from the Ottawa Valley including: toy makers (like me!), jewellery, fine art, vintage and collectibles, beauty products, books, knit wear, pottery/culinary items, and baking (yum!)! Here are just a few pictures of items from their website and Facebook Page. New pictures are being added almost daily on their Facebook page.
