May Flowers and Other Inspiration

 

I love the time of year when the snow has melted and the early leaves and flowers are opening.

I often mail my Etsy orders early in the morning before the daily mail pick up. The mailbox is not very far away and I often extend my walk along my neighbourhood. These pictures are from early May. I love the shapes and architecture of trees.

This vine growing over a fence belongs to the grape family (Vitaceae), and I believe it belongs to the genus Parthenocissus.

Thanks to Mom for holding the branch so I could photograph the pretty pink flowers. These colours will definitely inspire a future colour palette.
