Leaping Crochet Baby Hoodie

For Winter, I recently made a hooded sweater for Noah. I  loved how it turned out and made a second one for Noah’s friend. The pattern is I modified from the free Leaping Crochet Baby Hoodie on Moogly. The main changes to the pattern were for size (3T), border pattern, and the addition of cuffs to the bottom and sleeves.

Noah’s fried is a blue eyed, blond fellow and I chose colours with this in mind. The three colours from Red Heart Yarns are turqua, hot red, and spring green. I love how the colours blended with blue and green being similar and the red a contrasting colour. Or maybe I was influenced by the RBG colour model used in the old style, and my current, televisions I would love to learn more about colour theory (I’ve added a colour wheel to my Christmas wish list).

I’ve also been busy getting an order of rattles ready for Fiddleheads kids shop in Halifax, NS. In the box are mermaids, monkeys, lobsters, elephants, and carrots.
