Free Pattern: Lucky Clover Appliques

IMG_2700Happy St. Patrick’s Day. Last month I shared my pattern for heart appliques. This month I am sharing a pattern for 3 and 4 leafed clovers. This pattern is great for scraps of yarn. Keep reading for the pattern. You can use these clovers to personalize clothing and accessories, or make them in to pins and magnets.

Materials

For theses leaves I used worsted weight yarn and a 4mm hook, but you can use any yarn and appropriated hook size.

Extended Sl St

You create the stitch by inserting the hook in the middle of the first round (the 2nd ch from the first round), yarn over and pull loop through the first loop on the hook.
